Help the Community!

All full time employees at LHA are awarded 20 hours of paid time off in exchange for community service to a non-profit organization to create a more Eco-friendly and community driven environment.

Some of the most recent changes to the company policies at Luftman, Heck & Associates are now offering time off to employees who wish to donate their hours to help others in need. Some of the most recognizable organizations that employees are encouraged to volunteer for are groups such as GoodwillFurniture Bank of Central Ohio Mid-Ohio FoodbankBoys & Girls Clubs of Columbus and United Way.

Columbus Gives Back is a great site if you wish to contribute to the community but you aren’t sure where to go, who to go with or how to approach it. Columbus Gives Back offers meetup-style events in which you experience the gift of giving while meeting new people in the area.

With Earth Day approaching quickly, there are many other opportunities to help the community in a bright green way! There are worksites all over Columbus that people can volunteer for shifts on Saturday and Sunday, April 16th & 17th. Sign up today for Earth Day 2011: Lighten Up!
