Google Maps Foreclosures

Posted in Bankruptcy

Whether you’re interested in purchasing a foreclosed home or going through a foreclosure of your own and wish to see all of the other people suffering the same struggle, Google Maps has a function to view all of the foreclosures in a given area.

In the image below, we used the home office address (601 S High St Ste 107, Columbus, OH 43215) in order to pinpoint one area. All of the red dots indicate a foreclosed property. In order to search this on your own, follow these steps:

1. Go to Google Maps and type in an address
2. On the top right select the box that says “More”
3. Check the “Real Estate” box
4. In the left column, check the “Foreclosures” box

Another way to search for this information is to input a specific county in a website such as Foreclosure Listings. If you are facing foreclosure and not sure where to turn or what to do next, please contact our office to speak with an attorney about your options at (614) 224-1500. We offer a free consultation to help you get back on the right track.
