With a fierce desire to help people, attorney Patrick Miller enjoys his career as a consumer rights and bankruptcy attorney at Luftman, Heck & Associates. Miller has extensive experience in customer service work, and continued that interest as a lawyer. He uses his natural talents to benefit those who are going through financial complications that impact every area of their lives.
Patrick Miller is a savvy representative for those who are dealing with complicated legal issues. He is skilled at breaking down complex legal processes and ideas and making them understandable for the typical consumer. Miller lets clients know in basic terms what is going on in their financial lives and helps them move forward after times of difficulty.
One of Miller’s career highlights came in a case called In re Sadler from the U.S. District Court in the Northern District of Ohio. Miller fought against property tax certificate companies that charged extensive fees in Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases. As a result of that case, those companies are now limited in what they can charge, reducing fees for people and helping them remain in their homes.
Miller obtained a Bachelor’s degree with a double major in sociology and history and a minor in education from Cleveland State University. He then attended Cleveland State University – Marshall College of Law.
Outside of work, Miller enjoys Cleveland sports, including the Tribe, Browns, and Cavaliers. He is an avid historical nonfiction reader, and spends a lot of time with his mountain cur puppy, Bo.
